The interactive gaming craze has taken hold at Walt Disney World® with plenty of opportunity for kids of all ages to participate at three of the four theme parks. And better yet it is included in park admission; simply sign up on arrival.
Magic Kingdom® Park. Apprentice sorcerers eliminate evil villains in the interactive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Pick up your play card at the Fire Station at the Main Street, U.S.A® Area to cast magic spells as you search for a bevy of villains in hiding places throughout the park.
Also at the Magic Kingdom is A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas. Obtain your mission, map, and “magic talisman” from the Enlistment Center, a small building just outside the Adventureland® Area arch on the Frontierland® Area side, then embark on one of five different pirate raids throughout Adventureland fending off some of Captain Jack’s enemies, including the Royal Navy and Captain Barbossa.
Epcot®. Kids will love becoming a secret agent and going undercover at Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure at Epcot. Scour World Showcase and help solve clues to thwart some of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s most daringly evil plots. Visit a recruitment center at Odyssey Bridge, Norway Pavilion, Italy Pavilion or near the International Gateway where you’ll receive your assignment and begin your detective work with an interactive handheld device that will guide you on your mission.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Inspired by young Russell from the Pixar movie Up. Wilderness Explorers at Disney’s Animal Kingdom experience the park using Wilderness Explorer Handbooks, earning badge stickers as they complete 30 different challenges throughout the park. It’s a great way to encourage your children to take a more “up close and personal” look at this amazing park.
