Who doesn’t love a balcony? At Walt Disney World® Resort you’ll find that most standard-type guest rooms at the Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts come with at least one balcony, but the views they offer are not all created equal. Here are the best bets for balcony views:
Theme Park View Room at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Disney’s Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort. You won’t find closer views of the Magic Kingdom®, Cinderella Castle, and the Wishes fireworks show. Ask for a room on the North side of either resort and as high as possible. If you reserve a concierge room at Disney’s Contemporary Resort then you are automatically on a higher floor; rooms and suites on the 14th floor’s Tower Club have extra deep balconies.
Deluxe Club Room at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. With 600 square feet and a full waterfront view overlooking Disney’s BoardWalk Entertainment District and Crescent Lake, even a view of Spaceship Earth in the distance, these are what I consider Disney’s best bargain.
Savanna View Room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas–Kidani Village. These are jackpot winners for their great views of the resort’s savanna and exotic animals.
Main Building Theme Park View Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Although not directly on the Seven Seas Lagoon these all have a guaranteed view of Cinderella Castle, unlike the Outer Building Theme Park View rooms that might only look at the Space Mountain® Attraction.
